MODEL A FORDS

Gregg restored his 1928 Model A Phaeton with his dad, Barney Wilkerson when Gregg was 14 years old. Gregg took his driver’s license test in this car. He also has a black 1931 Fordoor. He is past president of the Bakersfield Model A Ford Club. From 1964 to 1980, Gregg and his dad Barney restored 22 antique or historic vehicles.

MILITARY RESTORATIONS

Gregg restored his 1945 Willys Army Jeep in 2001 to honor his father who served in WWII. The numbers on this Jeep are from his dad’s army unit. The 3A means "3 rd Army", 9M means "9 th Mechanized Division", 9AOP means "9 th Allied Operations Platoon",and the 5 at the end means "5th vehicle in the Platoon."
